The Duchess was first spotted wearing these in Summer 2019 and they have made an appearance at many summer public engagements every year since. We have had our eyes on these understated, relaxed and oh so stylish Espradilles for a while and decided it was time to bring them to Amaryllis. We can't resist a royal endorsement.
The Castañer family has been reinventing the espadrille since 1927. In the late ‘60s, the brand gained prominence after creating the first jute-soled wedge for Yves Saint Laurent – an iconic summer style.
Kate pairs the these iconic wedges with summery dresses that are understated and elegant. We suggest pairing with Pom Amsterdam who are championing knee length and full-length summer dresses this season which feature florals, print and relaxed cuts.
